Summer Begins

Summer has now began, and I've already been all over. Last Sunday we took a drive to Pilot Mound to visit Daddy's family, we watched my cousin Nathan play baseball and played outside at my Grandma Bev's. I had a fun time playing with my cousin Ginny. This is me with my Great Grandma Wickens, I am very good for my Great Grandma's when they hold me.

My Uncle Scott graduated on Thursday. I watched the grad parade and went to the ceremony, I was a very good girl. Then I stayed with My Auntie Hollie and Uncle Steve while Mommy and Daddy went to the supper. That was the first time I stayed with someone other than Grandma Carilee.

Then on Saturday we went to Grand Forks, to a hotel for night. I hadn't been swimming in a long time, it was so much fun. I loved my new little boat, I just relaxed and watched everyone.

Rolling Over

Big day today, I rolled over for the first time!!! Mommy put me under my jungle mat and she went to make lunch, when she came back I was on my belly. She is going to have to watch me constantly now, I already have to be buckled into all of my toys because sometimes I just get too crazy!

Another thing that has changed, is that I love to be outside. Watching the trees is one of my favorite things to do. Usually we go for 2 or 3 walks a day, and I like to sit on the steps and watch the cars go by, and the kids walking home from school.

As you can see, I am getting to be a very busy girl.

Mommy took me to Rhubarb Roots last week to get my pictures taken. They did a great job. I wasn't really in the mood to smile, but I am still very cute in all of them!!

3 months old

Well I have been up to a lot this last week again, and today I turned 3 months. I am 12 1/2 pounds, and i'm slowly starting to fit into all of my cute little summer dresses. I'm starting to enjoy being outside a little more, I really like looking at the leaves on the trees. I also went for a ride in my chariot without my car seat. It was so much fun, mommy and daddy bought a special cushion so that i am nice and comfy, and I can look out and see everything.

Last weekend I went to Cavalier, just for the day, Mommy and I visited Uncle Steve, Auntie Hollie and Oakley. I was a very good girl, I played outside all afternoon, went for walks and even played in the camper with Oakley and Prelsey. Now i'm ready for a whole weekend of camping this summer. I haven't been able to spend very much time with my Daddy. He has been busy every weekend for the last 2 months, so I can't wait for summer, June 27th summer will begin for our family. We are so excited, I am going to experience so many new things.

I've been getting smarter and smarter day by day. I can take my soother out of my mouth and then almost put it back in, I can grab toys out of mommy's hands and hold and shake them for a long time. I want to put everything in my mouth, I even lift the bottoms of my dresses and try to eat them. I can almost jam my whole fist in my mouth too! I can roll onto my side and stay there, but i haven't mastered rolling over yet, it won't be long. My newest trick is to put my heals on the ground, lift my butt, and slide backwards. I moved all the way off of my blanket yesterday.

What is going on? I'm not ready for bed, I'm wide awake!
