Some Firsts

I've been doing all sorts of new things. I went to my first wedding on the weekend. Mommy forgot to take a picture of me because I was just too busy. It was so much fun, I was awake from 1:00 in the afternoon until I went to bed at 10:00 in the evening. I had lots of fun dancing under the bubbles. Before we drove to the wedding Mommy and I went to Grandma and Grandpas to watch my first Sunflower Fesitval Parade. I really liked the bands, all of the excitment made me so sleepy I fell asleep half way through.

No more swaddling! Another first is sleeping on my belly. For the past few weeks my nights have been a little different. I wake myself up a lot, just looking for my soother, but this is how I like to sleep, or flat on my belly with my face jammed into the mattress. I'm just growing up so fast, and making decisions all on my own.

Daddy came home from golfing one day with a jolly jumper. It is lots of fun, and it's nice and small that we can take it with us whenever we go places. I bounce and spin around all the time. Another toy to add into the rotation.

So I've been taking a few more naps in the past few weeks, which means I'm going to bed later than I used to, but Mommy forgets and thinks I'm ready for bed too early, and she cleans up all of my toys. So we practice some belly time and sitting. I am constantly rolling over onto my belly, as soon as someone puts me on my back I immediatly flip over. I really like seeing the world from a new position, and my arms are getting much stronger so I can hold myself up really good. If I don't flip over right away then I can spend a long time trying to suck on my toes, I've only been able to reach them into my mouth a few times, but I try very hard. And my sitting is coming along slowly, I lean over to touch my feet and don't sit up very straight, but I am trying.

This is the only toy I can play with in my bumbo chair. It makes me sit up nice and straight. When I play with my other toys I slouch down and want to suck on the tray. I'm getting to be pretty flexible

I just wanted to lift up my skirt and show everyone the rolls on my legs!

First time camping

I went on my first camping trip this weekend. We went to Cavalier and we were there for three nights, I wanted to stay longer. The first day was really nice, but then it started raining in the night, but i slept right through it all. The next day was very windy, but I really wanted to be outside, I got all bundled up and had a great time in the wind. Hollie, Steve, Oakley, Mark and Sifter all came too. I can't wait to go again!

Last week I met my cousin Madison, she lives very far away, in Alberta. She was very excited to see me, we spent lots of time together, we even got to go swimming. I had a great time!

I am a very happy girl when I get to go swimming. When the pool is too full for me, Mommy and Daddy let me swim in my little pool out on the deck. So I'm going to show you a bunch of swimming pictures, because that is pretty much all I have been up to this week.
