More randoms from summer

Mom is slowly getting caught up with all of our pics. These ones are from August, Lyla was about 3 months. But now she is already 5 months, and 16 pounds. She got her 2 bottom teeth a few weeks ago. She's been eating cereal and a bit of fruit. She is always watching us eat, so we decided she is ready and I am the best helper. Feeding Lyla is one of my favorite things to do with her. She likes to sit in her bumbo and watch me play. I'm glad that she is getting bigger and she's a lot more fun. She is always smiling and she's very relaxed.

I on the other hand need to be busy... I go to preschool 2 times a week, and I love it. I also have ballet, gymnastics, 'bookclub' at the librbary, Wiggle Giggle and Munch through the resource center and preschool skating will be starting really soon. Hockey talk has been around our house for months already and we went to the first Hawks game this past weekend. We both really liked it, Lyla enjoyed all the movement, and I have started asking about all of the rules and how the game works. This makes Dad pretty happy, we are ready to spend another winter at the rink.

Enjoy the pics

Swimming Lessons & Sunflower Festival

Mom helped with the Sunflower Festival Queen Pageant Fashion Show again this year. I even got to be a part of it as well. I gave the flowers to the 2nd Princess, and got to walk out on the big stage. I did a great job, and I was very brave. I practiced my wave all week, and got it down pat!!

All ready to go

Dancin' it up at the stage show before the crowning

Kelly Fehr was crowned and I'm giving her flowers

Here is our big wave

Callie Tomchuk was the 1st Princess, I see Callie all the time when I go to my babysitters, so I was very excited for her.

I made it through the entire 2 weeks of swimming lessons this year. Last year I only lasted 2 days before I got pnemonia. I passed sea turtle, and I had a great time. I got a lot braver throughout the week. I look a little grumpy in this pic about the whole diving board thing.

Just couldn't do it on my own

Aberdeen

This was our second annual Aberdeen camping week. It was awesome, and it was hot! So humid that Lyla had to stay in the camper most of the time because she just cried if we took her outside. This is why there are no pics of storybook land this year. On this 5 hour drive we realized that Lyla is not a driver just like our Halle. We purchased portable dvd players the day after we got home. Driving has been great ever since!

Mark & Meagan rented a buggy and I got a ride

At the waterpark in Aberdeen

Lyla came with but didn't swim, she just hung out in her stroller.
